Google Searches to Protect Against Unreliable Businesses

Recent news about businesses gaining hits as a result of negative reviews has spurred Google to create an algorithm to prevent this. As customers write angry complaints, their site increased in Google search rankings. The new function by Google will include a “sentiment analysis”, so that businesses who have higher reviews will rank higher in the searches. This will save time digging through all the results to try and read reviews in hopes of finding the place that best suits you.

While Google doesn’t guarantee that their plan is always accurate (due to the continuous uploading of reviews), they hope their solution will lead to enhanced search results to better please their users. To read more about this, visit Computer World.
