People have been experiencing hack attacks on their Facebook profiles. This is just another important reminder of why we take great measures in keeping our online identities secure. Social networking websites have become a huge form of communication and as we see here, we should not be so quick to assume they automatically protect your information. Beware of the personal information you share with these websites and make sure to stay on top of the privacy settings that they provide for you. Facebook constantly updates their privacy policies to better suite your experience on their website. Make sure you have privacy settings set correctly so that personal information cannot be seen by just anyone and everyone. Stay protected while participating on these social networking websites.
