A new email virus has been circulating

In recent days, a new email virus has been circulating. If you receive it, it says something like the following: “Notice of appearance in court NR#****” “Urgent court notice NR#****” “Hearing of your case in Court NR#****” “Notice to appear in court NR#****” It may appear to be coming from a US Court, a NYS court, a PA Court, some other court, or a law firm. The email directs you to open an attached ZIP file. DO NOT OPEN IT THE ATTACHMENT! DELETE THE EMAIL AND THE ZIP FILE. Have a great Holiday Season and a happy and safe NEW YEAR!! Another client rcd a call claiming they were sending out viruses & needed to pay to have the pc cleaned. If you get this call hang up, its a scam. If possible, get the caller id and report the issue to the FBI. these companies are ripping people off across the country.
